<image:title>About Guy - Sports Therapy and Injury Specialist</image:title>
<image:caption>Guy has 9+ years in Sports Therapy. Based in Leytonstone, he divides his time between Pause Yoga Studio in Leyton and Derby Cottage Clinic in Newmarket (Suffolk). Guy graduated in 2013 with an MSc in Sports Therapy from the University of Gloucestershire excelling in injury treatment and rehabilitation. His undergraduate in Sport Science (Sheffield Hallam University) allows him to underpin his clinical injury treatment with expert specific rehabilitation programming; that will get you back to doing what you love and educating you how to move correctly. Guy started out his career working in professional football with Cambridge United. He spent 2 years homing and refining his treatment and rehab skills within a high pressure professional environment where he was responsible for executing daily, treatment, early and late stage rehab, hydrotherapy sessions and pitch side run ons. Whilst he was at Cambridge United he was fortunate enough to be pitch side for 2 successful Wembley finals (FA trophy and Conference Play-off) and a trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United. Since leaving Cambridge he has spent 8 years working solely in the private injury sector treating a wide variety of both sporting, musculoskeletal and lifestyle injuries. Guy is a keen sportsman himself having represented his county in Rugby, Tennis & Football, although he now fills his spare time with running half marathons and national league volleyball. Being a keen sportsman he is able to easily relate and understand the frustrations that patients have with injuries and their desire to getting back to doing what they love. He’s also had his fair share of injuries along the way himself.</image:caption>
